a clear path ahead

WHAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ?

The District has operated at a deficit over the past two years and depleted its fund balance. Additionally, the State School funding formula has not kept pace with inflation, forcing Glendale-River Hills and districts across the state to turn to operational referendums to increase funding.

If the operational referendum were to pass it would:

  • Maintain class sizes and staff to student ratios at Parkway Elementary

  • Retain high quality staff with incremental raises based on cost of living and experience

  • Retain critical support staff including reading and math interventionists, counselors, psychologists and social worker support across the District

  • Meet operational maintenance needs for our buildings and grounds

  • Maintain necessary technology and curriculum materials
